We are

   > A small hillwalking club, currently with about 40 members

>  Based in the scenic village of Rathgormack, County Waterford, in the South East of Ireland

> Aware of the effect our sport has on the environment and local communities

> Conscious of the need for safety on the uplands

> A member of Mountaineering Ireland and thus following all it's protocols and guidelines

> Open to all those fortunate enough to be eighteen years or older

We Walk

> Most Sundays from early September until late May

> Mainly in the Comeragh, Knockmealdown and Galtee Mountains

> Further afield, on other mountain ranges and coastal areas when the opportunity presents, and on organized away weekends on the island of Ireland

>Abroad, in Wales, England, Scotland, Italy, Spain ...

> To provide walks to suit all levels of ability

> To give back to our communities

> To encourage social interaction among our members through recreational activities such as barbecues and other social events

> To provide training in mountain skills
